Are you tired of having meetings in an enclosed room or in a high-rise building with lots of noise and distractions? Why not surround yourselves with inspiring African Wilderness where you can mix business with pleasure? At Royal we hold many conferences by turning our dining room into a conference room. We have a projector and screen, a large table that can sit 30 participants, a beautiful breeze and a room with a view!
Situated on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, the lodge offers a magnificent backdrop for corporate events. Fifteen luxury suites accommodate a party of up to 15 people in single suites or 30 in twins, and there is plenty of communal space in the reception area and on the spacious veranda where large groups dine and socialise together. If you have a slightly larger group we can organise further accommodation at another lodge nearby.
You can work with us to put together a tailored itinerary to suit your group, with room for flexibility depending on what activities are desired. The range of activities on offer include game drives, canoeing and boat cruises on the Zambezi River, fishing, bush walks and cultural trips to the village. More relaxing pastimes are enjoyed in the tranquil Royal Bush Spa, with Jill our attentive therapist on hand to provide massages and other therapeutic and beauty treatments.
Fun team-building activities can be organised, including touch rugby on the sand bars by the river, and a fishing competition to run over the duration of your trip. One evening, your group can enjoy a Movie Night with a cinema set up outdoors on the veranda and popcorn on offer. Another evening your group can go on a game drive ending up in an amazing location where surprise sundowners will be laid on, followed by a night safari on the way back to the lodge. The trip can be rounded off with drinks around a campfire, with a chance to bond over stories from the last few days, followed by a farewell dinner under the stars and prize giving ceremony.
“Having recently returned from 4 magical days on the banks of the Zambezi I simply cannot recommend Royal highly enough. Organising group incentives can be a challenging task at the best of times but this was delight from start to finish. The accommodation was marvelous, the staff amazing, the food first class and the hospitality both memorable and innovative. As an experienced ‘safari goer’ I would add that this was by far the most exhilarating experience I have enjoyed in Africa in what must be the best lodge I have stayed in. Royal Zambezi Lodge is a triumph; and I know that every member of our Group would say the same. It is simply the best incentive destination we have used.”
